Egypt To Locally Manufacture Tablets For Educational Purposes

Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has announced the government’s plan to locally manufacture tablet computers with the aim of using them in schools and educational purposes.
The decision was announced in a meeting attended by Madbouly, Minister of Education Tarek Shawky, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat, and Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi.
According to Minister Talaat, they’re currently discussing an action plan with major international companies that specialize in the manufacturing of tablets and to have them start production lines in Egypt.
“This will allow tablets to be manufactured locally to cover demand, with an export opportunity as well,” he added.
The Communications Ministry said earlier that the government intend on establishing a new technology factory with a remarkable investment that will provide around 500 job opportunities!

Apple Finally Unveils The New iPhone 12 and Here’s What You Need to Know

Apple has finally revealed its newest, long-awaited iPhone 12 alongside several more new products in a live event that was held yesterday night and here’s everything you should know!
The new apple iPhone will feature 5G capabilities, in addition to a new refreshed design but still maintaining the basic marks of an Apple smartphone with the bezel around the screen and the square edges.
Starting at $799, the phone comes in several colors including: black, white, blue, red, and green, similar to the iPhone 11 selection. Both devices feature the same Super Retina XDR display with the iPhone 12 Pro packing a 6.1-inch screen while the 12 Pro Max ups that to 6.7 inches.
The displays come equipped with Apple’s new Ceramic Shield front cover, which the company says is “tougher than any smart phone glass.” It apparently has 4 times the chance to survive a fall from your pocket without cracking.
It’s also worth mentioning that Apple won’t include the a charging brick or headphone in the box. According to the company, it’s a move meant to reduce Apple’s carbon footprint, which the company has made clear in the past.
The phone will still include a Lighting Cable, though it uses a USB-C to plug into the charger, so you might need to purchase that separately. It seems that the decision has been met with a lot of negative feedback online, with people claiming that Apple is trying to increase its margins, rather than lower carbon emissions.
The iPhone 12 will go on sale on October 23.
