Pizza is the greatest cuisine in the world and our favorite food. Mostly everyone in the world has had pizza in some way or form. First, the taste, depending on the topping you choose; pizza can be different for everyone. It can be spicy if you add jalapenos, or choose to spread some red peppers over it. It’s hot, and succulent at the same time. It’s truly a wonderful taste when you take that first bite, and all the flavors of the sauce, cheese, and seasoning go rushing towards your taste buds. Second thing, the sound pizza makes. That crunchy sound you hear when biting into that delicious seasoned crust. It’s like heaven on earth. Another thing that’s great about pizza is how it feels. It has a smooth exterior if done properly. It can also be gooey, and the bread is nice and crusty.
Pizza, the very best option of Italian culture, can also be enjoyed in all variates from classic Italian pizza to the thin and crunchy American pizza. Cairo has it all and we’d like to thank the Italians for their special gift to the world.
Who needs lovers when you’ve got pizza? At least it doesn’t judge you, it’s always warm and tasty, and not to mention how trustworthy it can be. Pizza doesn’t care if you can’t get over your ex, or that you’re farting the whole time you’re eating it. It doesn’t think that way, it just accepts you with all your flaws. Pizza is a beautiful and perfect human companion and let’s not even try mentioning how loyal it is!
Pizza is love! Anyone who tells you otherwise is just crazy! Pizza is a beautiful thing that the Italians have bestowed upon us. The Earth may be not round and flat, but our pizzas are – and they have given us more reason to live than any of our sad earthly matters. It’s compelling, and a smell most people around the world know of. When being baked, you can get a whiff of the melting mozzarella cheese, or sauce. It’s an enticing odor. Ted’s pizza has many scents that will have people lined up craving a slice or more. In conclusion, this is why Ted’s pizza is the greatest pizza in the world and my favorite food. Their ingredients are flavoursome, and as fresh as their restaurant’s atmosphere! Chewy and filling never looked so good.

Set in the heart of Korba, this is as close as it gets to being in Italy without having to go through border or visa control. The pizza is very authentic, and surprisingly close to the real deal in Italy. How can we not love Pepenero’s pizza? Seriously, it’s one of the best pizza’s in town! Staring at this picture gives me the urge to grab the phone and place a big order. One of the great things that make pizza look amazing and also makes my mouth water is of course the toppings and cheese. The pepperonis, jalapenos, ham, sausage, etc. They all make pizza unique in it’s own way, but still gives it that awe-inspiring look and heavenly taste. Pepenero also has a a full menu of great Italian food, that will leave you satisfied but for the sake of this list try the pizza there, it’s great. The atmosphere, interior decor, and music is just spot on. It’s a chic restaurant located in Korba – one of our favorite districts of Cairo.

4.IL Divino’s Pizzeria:
Zamalek seems to be the hub of all doughey and mozzarella goodness. Il Divino is a gift to all pizza lovers in Zamalek. With Il Divino Pizzeria, don’t be fooled by the place’s size. It’s tiny, but its heavenly amazing! And if you’re craving a truly unique pizza with impeccable flavor, then this is the first place you should head to. They’ll deliver steaming hot pizzas right to your doorstep too. There seems to be a focus on authenticity at Il Divino given the thickness of the dough, use of fresh products, and distinctly Italian flavors. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it! The pizza was pizzeria perfect. How could it be anything else from IL Divino’s Pizzeria. They could make bread like no-one else and they used a pizza stone. There were even herbs in the dough. Like all their other home-baking it was mostly wholewheat, yet still so light. The sauce had chunks of tomato and the topping was three cheeses. There was nowhere in the world that sold pizza like this, and even if they did it wouldn’t be as good. This was pizza IL Divino’s made, what could be better than that? Want to enjoy a cheesy, fresh pizza? Head to IL Divino’s Pizzeria!
5.Andiamo Pizza Garden & Bar:
Andiamo, the true meaning of the epitome of oven-baked crispy mouthwatering pizza! There, the nights are always young and free, the humans have bodies that look like they don’t eat nearly enough pizza, and fresh icy cocktails really settle well with those cheesy bites! I love pizza but not any type of pizza, it’s a Andiamo’s pizza! With the dough, tomato sauce, olives, peppers, meatballs, artichoke, and cheese that makes my mouth water like an uncontrollable sinks faucet! I like these kind of pizza, especially Andiamo’s pizza because it’s one of the more healthier, refreshing, and “exploding with flavor kind of pizza.” The soft and warm pizza dough makes the pizza nice and chewy. I don’t know about you, but I like my pizza chewy and soft rather than hard, like the crust for example. Then there’s the tomato sauce and sometimes, there are chunks of tomato’s mixed in there with the sauce. The sauce is a key part of the pizza because it’s sort of like the juice of an apple. And the veggies, even though there not the BEST tasting thing in the word, on pizza they taste better than candy. Andiamo is just the place to get a gourmet pizza because nothing says great pizza like home made pizza dough!

Like we need to take this any further describing the bliss that is everything coming out of this establishment’s kitchen, but just in case you need convincing feast your eyes on this beauty. As the friendly waiters come to give out the range of pizzas you’ve ordered, I cant stop my mouth from watering at the sight of the flaky brown crust. The big red pepperonis look like rafts sitting on the surface of the majestic sea of cheese. As I lean over the plate I can’t help but take in its heavenly aroma. The fresh scent of the sauce tickles my nose. As I sprinkle on red peppers the new spicy smell kicks my hungry into overdrive. Then, as I pick up my first slice I get goose bumps. As I feel the soft texture when I grab my first slice makes my heart race. The warm kiss of the grease as it drips onto my hand burns so good. Finally as I bite into temptation its like I’m on another planet. One filled with a hot delicious taste that warms my body with each bite. The spicy kick that makes my lips pucker with every delicious bite send me soaring with the stars. Without a doubt no other food can compete with how amazing Tutti Matti’s pizza is.

This is one of Cairo’s most popular Italian restaurants boasting some of the best pizzas in town. It’s a charming restaurant that offers you deliciously cheesy pizzas that will leave you totally satisfied. One of our top 9 most absolute foods to eat so far that I discovered would have to be Pizza in particular, Porta D’oro’s pizza. Each ingredient on its own has its delicious stomach growling smell. The faint meaty smell of Bacon, Porta D’oro’s unique dough cooked through smells like a bakery, the gooey creamy smell of cheese, and the zesty smell of pepperoni. All together the smell is appealing. Every time I decide to head to Porta D’oro’s pizza with my choosing of toppings I like the wooden pizza utensil coming out of the kitchen to see a transparent cloud of steam rise up and fade away. But the steam is like fireworks in the beginning of a show and the show hasn’t started yet not until I see the variety of pizza slices topped with a generous amount of juicy, shiny, ingredients; the show has started. I reach for a slice and when I have it in my hand I can feel it’s hot. I sometimes press down a little too hard and can feel a crunch under my fingers so I tear that piece apart and I can feel the gooey soft cheese slowly tearing apart. When I take my first bite almost in 2 seconds I can taste the pizza complimented with spices under the creamy cheese and the zesty pepperoni dancing with the candy of meat, bacon. If the pizza is fresh from the oven I can hear the sizzling of meat and the rough sound on the bottom of the pizza makes for a great devouring grip. It’s nearly silent when I chew but I can still hear the juicy sounds swishing in my mouth. There are no wacky or bizarre pizzas here. Lastly, Porta D’oro focuses on serving beautiful classic pizzas including the Margherita and Napolitano. Staff is friendly, and service is prompt. A good overall experience we’d recommend to all.

10.La Pizza Alforno:
The gorgeous visible oven in the middle of the restaurant is something to admire, a great touch. We love a restaurant that has nothing to hide. La Pizza Alforno is a charming restaurant with two branches, one in the Nile City Towers, and another in Citystars. The pizza has a deliciously smokey flavor, and the use of high quality of ingredients is a big bonus. The “Dalida” pizza is by far one of our favorite pizzas in Cairo. This beauty is topped with tomato sauce, cheese, oriental sausage, sauteed onions, chilies, and oregano. A lovely pizzeria worthy of a place among the top 10.

Is Egypt Experiencing Shortage in Potatoes?
Egypt’s authorities are stepping in to fight a potato shortage that has caused prices for the staple to double at a time when Egyptians are struggling with steadily rising food costs.
Certain newspapers and TV stations have been publicising raids on warehouses where authorities say businessmen are hoarding potatoes to try to drive up prices. While for the first time, the Interior Ministry has begun selling potatoes at reduced prices at temporary outlets, drawing long lines of customers.
Let’s wait and see how we’ll be able to tackle this one. Hopefully, we’ll get ourselves out of this one same way we have with other things.
4 Shocking Facts About Food
Food is superrrr important (obviously) and in addition to its necessity for our bodily needs, some of us are actually crazy and very passionate about food. So as a tribute to that, we have come to you today with some SHOCKING facts about food!
- It’s legal to have hair or bugs in food. In the United States, the FDA passed regulations that state that “natural defects” in certain food products are allowed to have a specific amount of insects or rodent hair to be present in food. An example is canned mushrooms are allowed to contain up to 20 maggots to pass inspection. Eww!
- Decaf coffee is not 100% decaf. Most decaffeinated coffee is not completely caffeine free, as it contains small amounts of caffeine. For example, a decaf latte can have up to as much caffeine as in one can of cola. A decaf espresso can have up to 16 milligrams of caffeine.
- Cooked vegetables are sometimes more nutritious than raw ones. The amount of nutrition varies between the type of vegetable and how it is cooked. Boiling carrots provides more nutrients than raw carrots as boiling carrots releases the amount of antioxidants in the vegetable for consumption. However, cooking carrots can lower other compounds.
- Coconut oil is EXTREMELY powerful. One of the most healthful and powerful foods is coconut oil. It’s a healthy fat that can boost immunity, aid in heart health, and regulate metabolism. Numerous benefits are in coconut oil, and it can also be used in skin care. Coconut oil contains antioxidant properties that are antimicrobial, anti-fungal, and antibacterial.
