Grand Nile Tower is known for providing an exquisite and fine dinning experience not only for their diverse cuisines but also for the splendid Nile view that surrounds the hotel.

The place offers a broad selection of fine dining opportunities with a variety of cuisines, which take full advantage of the hotel’s unique location along the Nile.

Mother’s day: Planning the Perfect Getaway for your Mother

Published

on

By

Alert! Mother’s day is just around the corner, and if your mother is as stubborn as mine when it comes to buying her a gift, then the best way to celebrate it is by spending quality time with one another. And so I figured that the best way to draw a smile on her face is by taking her out to my favorite places, or what used to be her favorite places.

There are various ways to spend the day with her, and they all depend on your mother’s personality, because while some may be outgoing, others would like to take some time off duties and spend the day relaxed at home. So here’s a list of suggestions, but keep in mind that you’re the best one to tell how your mother would want to spend the day.

1- Wust El Balad

This used to be my mother’s hang out place, and whenever she feels down, I usually take her there for ice cream from what used to be her favorite ice cream place Al Americaine. So if your mum is as nostalgic as mine, take her out to places with memories in them and make her relive them with you. Listen to her tell stories about her youth, and her best friends and how she used to spend her time.

You can have lunch at one of the Liver shops there, or take her to Eish wa Malh where she can enjoy some really good Italian food.

Mom has fed you so many times, this Mother's Day treat her to a special brunch in the heart of Downtown. The whole family can enjoy everything from strawberry pancakes with a cappuccino to a succulent beef fillet with fresh pasta. We'll serve breakfast until 3pm and have a number of brunch specials! 🍓🍓🍓 Free chocolate covered strawberries for all the ladies! Perfect for couples and families. Single mothers welcome. Those who have lost or lost touch with their mothers encouraged; extra chocolate covered strawberries for you. 🍴🍴🍴 The menu is a la carte. No minimum charge. For reservations, please call 01098744014. #eishayatek #downtowncairo #mothersday #mom #pancakes #free #brunch #chocolatestrawberries

2- Day use at a hotel

A day use at a fine hotel makes the perfect scenario for relaxation, you can start off your day with a nice massage and then have breakfast by a view. My recommendation would be to choose a hotel by the Nile so you get to enjoy a perfect view and the perfect weather, go for Sofitel or Grand Nile Tower, they won’t disappoint.

In both, you’ll get to enjoy a splendid view from their restaurants, where you can indulge in an array of your favorite baguettes. Also, good news is, Grand Nile Tower is offering a special discount of 50% on all massage and spa treatments to moms at their Royal Health Club. The offer is valid from the 21st till 23rd of March.

For reservation, call 0223651234

3- Paul

Paul is also a perfect choice for mothers who would enjoy fine french baguettes and pastries, the restaurant itself is classy and sets a nice mood for breakfast or lunch. My recommendation would be to go to the branch in Korba; because it looks heavenly and you can go for a walk afterwards.

4- Spring Flowers Exhibition at Orman Garden

Available from the 21st of March until the 21st of April, and this time Orman Garden is hosting the 86th Edition of Middle East’s biggest flower exhibition. It is thrown annually and is considered to be the most elaborate kind of a flower exhibition in the Middle East. The good thing is that if your mother is a garden/ flower lover, she won’t resist not buying something from the exhibition and you, my lucky friend, will of course be the one buying it for her.

The exhibition will include more than 171 vendors, displaying a wild variety of more than 600 species of cacti, roses, orchids, palm trees, indoor and outdoor plants.

5- Andrea New Giza

The hard choice you will have to make is whether to have breakfast or dinner there, because both meals are extravagant, and will sure get your mother’s approval. Besides their really good food and their most famous chicken, the view at the New Giza branch is breathtaking, and the weather these days make the place even more suitable.
