A crucial meeting was held yesterday evening by our President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi to meet with Mohamed Ahmed Zaki, the Ministry of Defense, as well as Mohammed Farid Hegazy, the Chief of Staff of the Armed forces. They had discussed the updates regarding how they should proceed with confronting the coronavirus that is spreading on a daily basis.
Bassam Rady, presidential spokesperson, had mentioned that the meeting was also attended by big leaders from the main sectors within the Armed Forced as well as the head Director of the Military Intelligence Department.
These officials had highlighted the powerful and precautionary efforts that the Armed forced in cooperation with the state’s institute had exerted in order to know what to implement to take the necessary safety measures to confront the Coronavirus.
Bassam had also explained that during the meeting, they had also discussed a number of issues regarded the Armed Forces in general and resumed planning the strategic tactics they need to create in hopes of protecting the Egypt’s national security.
It was announced Monday in a statement that was published by the Egyptian Armed Forces, that they will be carrying out their fourth sterilization round in Cairo since they had already covered certain areas such as the Mazalat, side streets, bridged, and the bus stations of Aboud during the quarantine.
Now, earlier this week, the Armed forced had already commenced the third sterilizing round in both Alexandria and Cairo. This included Nour Mosque, State Council Courts, Ministry of Electricity, and Abasseya Square.
As for Alexandria, they had sterilized Al Agamy Specialized Hospital, Al Hadra Wholesale Market, Raileway stations, public establishments, squares, and main streets to ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of all areas.
“The forces also sterilized a number of buses operated by the Public Transportation Agency,” the spokesperson of the Egyptian Armed Forces announced.
“Earlier this month, the Egyptian Armed Forces sterilized Ramses Square, Ramses Railway Station, Al-Fath Mosque and its surroundings, and Al-Turgman bus station,” the spokesperson announced.
