Published

on

Both Pepsi and Chipsy came in strong this tournament with exceptional ads that we have all seen them, loved the creative concept and certainly enjoyed every copy… well, up until the last one came out!

We were also impressed by how the companies were prepared for the loss, what with Chipsy’s copy asking the players what happened, but when another copy for Pepsi went viral on social media showing the players apologizing for their loss, fans expressed their anger over it.

In case you have missed it, watch the video below:

In response to this, Pepsi issued a statement saying that this is an unofficial copy that has been leaked and that they’re currently investigating with the responsible parties.

They have also added that this copy goes against all the values that their official ad stands for, which is encouraging the players to do their best, and for the football enthusiasts to go easy on the team.

Responsible or not, one thing we know for sure is that people were very unhappy and shocked at the copy, and ever since the video went viral on social media, responses showed disgrace and anger.

However, Pepsi is vowing to resolve this issue as soon as possible by taking down the video from all social media outlets and investigate with the responsible parties.
