Liverpool and Egypt’s star Mohamed Salah has been nominated for the Globe Soccer Award for the 2019 Best Men’s Player of the Year, after an impressive year for him with the Reds.

Salah’s incredible year with the Reds witnessed him winning the UEFA Champions League title back in June and a very close win of the Premier League.

This year’s list of nominees include Sadio Mane, Cristiano Ronaldo, Alisson Becker, Virgil van Dijk, Bernardo Silva, and Lionel Messi, making the competition a fierce one.

The awards ceremony will be held on December 29th in Dubai with the partnership of the Dubai International Sports Conference 14 and the organization of the Dubai Sports Council.

Salah is no stranger to the Globe Soccer Awards, seeing that he won Best Arab player award in 2016, beating Riyad Mahrez, Islam Slimani, and Mehdi Benatia.
