The achievements of Mohamed Salah never cease to impress us, with his successful career path, that is rising day by day, and is an inspiration to us all.
Just recently, we have written an article about his latest accomplishment, and that is winning the Golden Boot for the second time in a row. Now, the Egyptian striker has been listed as a candidate for the prestigious France Football magazine’s 2019 Ballon d’Or award, alongside with his two teammates Van Dijk and Sadio Mane. Once again, giving us absolute pride.
The nomination isn’t the only thing giving us pride, but his ranking among big names is yet another remarkable achievement. And he even comes ahead some, in the ranking.
Mo Salah is among the top five players, he comes in fourth place following Argentina and Barcelona Lionel Messi, Van Dijik, Sadio Mane and ahead of Portugal and Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
This is not Salah’s first time to come close to the Golden Ball. Last year, he won 6th place after Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Luka Modric, who took the cup home.
The magazine is set to announce the name of the winner in December 2019.
So until then, we are keeping our fingers crossed; hoping for his win!
