The Kardashains, as always, dress to impress. And Kourtney’s 40th bash was no exception, but the one who definitely had all heads turning towards her is Khloe Kardashian in her crystal dress by Kuwaiti designer Yousef Al-Jasmi.
The $6,500 outfit surely stood out among all attendees. Fans, however, had a lot to say about her look and it wasn’t even about the hefty price tag that made them call out over her dress! But rather the striking resemblance between her outfit and Rihanna’s iconic CFDA outfit, that she walked on the red carpet in five years ago.
In an exclusive interview with People magazine, the Arab Designer Youssef Al-Jasmi and Khloe revealed that both the dress and the matching headpiece, are made entirely from mesh and Swarovski crystals!
The dress took only two weeks to create, and costs $6,500. Surprisingly enough, Khloe’s look still faced a lot of criticism.
“Her look for Kourtney’s 40th b-day last night is giving some serious Rihanna vibes.” Said Diet Prada.

This must be Khloe’s bid to make it onto @diet_prada lol. Her look for Kourtney’s 40th b-day last night is giving some serious Rihanna vibes. It’s not the first time she’s interpreted this look though…at least she credited @badgalriri as the inspiration for her lewk for Kris’ 60th Birthday back in 2015? 🙄 Thoughts, Dieters? • #khloekardashian #kuwtk #kourtneykardashian #kardashian #rihanna #badgalriri #fenty #fentybeauty #swarovski #cfda #cfdaawards #crystals #bling #sparkle #durag #accessories #sheer #adamselman #gown #eveningwear #dress #birthday #bday #wiwt #ootd #dianaross #nativeamerican #culturalappropriation #dietprada
Mohamed Mamdouh Apologizes to the People Criticizing Him
It looks like being a successful actor, who was capable of proving himself in the plenty of roles that he played, isn’t enough to get people off his back.
Mohamed Mamdouh has been proving himself each year as a competent actor, and this year was no different. However, people have been criticizing the actor for his short breath and pronunciation. Which was brought up in an interview with Al Arabya, to which his answer to this was a genuine apology.
But why should he be sorry? Such a flaw doesn’t make him any less of a good actor, and this flaw was even unnoticed by countless of his fans, who have been defending him since yesterday.
This brings us to an issue that not only celebrities face, but we do too, and that is bullying. It may not seem this way to some, because their claim could be that it’s merely their opinion, something the actor should work on. But it is a verbal bullying, and everyday we encounter the same thing.
What is merely your opinion, might affect the person’s self esteem and make them doubt themselves and their capabilities. Your comment about someone’s hair, body, or even their outfit, is one you should always keep to yourself. Because most of the time, people already know about their flaw, they just don’t like it when it’s pointed out to them.
Mohamed Mamdoud has been killing it in this year’s series ‘Qabeel‘, his portrayal of a person who’s severely manipulated by his mental illness is quite impressive. Not only that, but the way he’s mourning for his long gone wife, is giving us all the feels.
So why after giving a killer performance, should he be faced with such a criticism?
Kim Kardashian Gets Her Own Justice Project Documentary
US TV channel Oxygen has announced that they have given the go-ahead to the production of a two-hour documentary featuring Kim Kardashian.
The documentary is titled, The Justice Project, and it follows Kim’s efforts to “secure freedom for Americans who she believes have been wronged by the justice system.”
This documentary is set to become “an exclusive, never-before-seen look inside her mission to tackle one of America’s most controversial subjects.”
Just last June, Kim made headlines when she got to sit down with President Trump at the White House, and was given the opportunity to discuss criminal justice reforms.
Kim is on board as an executive producer alongside Bunim Murray Productions with Gil Goldschein, Julie Pizzi and Farnaz Farjam also executive producing.
This show aligns with Kim Kardashian’s goal to become an attorney, as she revealed last month on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
In an interview with Vogue, she said, “I had to think long and hard about this,” she told the publication. “I just felt like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society. I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more.”
The Justice Project comes after Kim worked hard to free Alice Marie Johnson, and after her decision to pursue her law degree.
It is quite impressive to have a well-known figure such Kim, using her platform to give a voice to those who can’t speak up for themselves. And with the enormous number of followers that she has, and her persistence to change the system, her chances are quite good.
She hopes to pass the bar exams by 2020.

Last year I registered with the California State Bar to study law. For the next 4 years, a minimum of 18 hours a week is required, I will take written and multiple choice tests monthly. As my first year is almost coming to an end I am preparing for the baby bar, a mini version of the bar, which is required when studying law this way. I’ve seen some comments from people who are saying it’s my privilege or my money that got me here, but that’s not the case. One person actually said I should “stay in my lane.” I want people to understand that there is nothing that should limit your pursuit of your dreams, and the accomplishment of new goals. You can create your own lanes, just as I am. The state bar doesn’t care who you are. This option is available to anyone who’s state allows it. It’s true I did not finish college. You need 60 college credits (I had 75) to take part in “reading the law”, which is an in office law school being apprenticed by lawyers. For anyone assuming this is the easy way out, it’s not. My weekends are spent away from my kids while I read and study. I work all day, put my kids to bed and spend my nights studying. There are times I feel overwhelmed and when I feel like I can’t do it but I get the pep talks I need from the people around me supporting me. I changed my number last year and disconnected from everyone because I have made this strict commitment to follow a dream of mine – It’s never too late to follow your dreams. I want to thank Van Jones for believing in me and introducing me to Jessica Jackson. Jessica along with Erin Haney have taken on the role of my mentors and I am forever grateful to them both putting in so much time with me, believing in me and supporting me through this journey. This week I have a big torts essay due on negligence. Wish me luck ✨⚖️
