ustrian trio ALPINE DWELLER is a delightfully peculiar Folk / Experimental / Pop formation producing sweet yet striking melodies. The band is comprised of Matthias Franz Elias Schinnerl (Guitar, ukulele, vocals, jew’s harp), Joana Marialena Karácsonyi (Cello, vocals and percussion) and Flora Marlene Dorothea Geißelbrecht (Viola, harp). The combination of string instruments mixed with their unique vocals result in the band’s dreamy, sometimes pleasantly haunting sound.
This event is in collaboration with the Austrian Cultural Forum Cairo.
