Daily Reminders for a Successful Life

Published

I was asked to give a speech at The 7s summit for creative Entrepreneurs, business executives, scientists and their work in the fields of business, science, marketing, arts, and education. Although, I still have a long way to go, I’ve figured four main points that have guided me along the road. Personally, I like to call them quick success reminders, however, you can call them whatever you want, and keep in mind that you as well can figure out your own beliefs, practices and what works best for you.
Here’s what I daily remind myself of:
Hold on to your dream:
What is that dream or goal you would like to reach? Have all the time you need to form a solid idea of what your goal really is, hold on to that dream tightly and chase it down. You will definitely face rejection, mockery and obstacles along the way, even those in your family may not understand what you are fighting to achieve that they end up fighting you. Don’t give up on your dream! Because giving up means losing your passionate soul; and I’m sure you don’t want to spend the rest of your days living someone else’s life.
Work on your skills:
You will collapse. You will experience moments of total defeat and failure. It takes guts to dream, and strong well to make it true. Remember, you can’t shape the circumstances around you, but you can always control yourself. Strengthen your skills, expand your capabilities, and work on your weaknesses. Invest in yourself because that’s the only kind of investment that has absolutely no loss.
Be yourself:
As cliché as it sounds, being pretentious will not get you anywhere. Although, the world is full of dreamers and fighters, but not everyone is authentic enough to make it. Spend time with yourself and get to know your our own worth and uniqueness, do not be a copycat, the world is full of them already. Figure out who you are and always work to be your best self.
Stay down to earth:
Dream big, but always keep your feet on the ground. Those who strut vainly break and fall easily. Don’t let your success fool you and trick into becoming someone else, don’t let achievements blind you, and always keep your ego under control. Focus on the real job. True success doesn’t mean reaching the top of the mountain, but rather staying there.
