Holistic Retreat

Egypt has always been a land of ancient spirituality and mysticism, which is why our country is developing and is skillfully making use of such a remarkable trait that promises to increase our economy’s tourism. With that said, a group of holistic yoga practitioners from “Return to Kemet” are hosting a retreat for women to help channel their inner feminine power.

The retreat is to be held on the 6th of April till the 11th  in the Red Sea and promises to help channel indulgence, nourishment, self-love and divine feminine power.

The itinerary of the trip includes pampering, detoxing, relaxation, renewal, and reawakening of our inner diving goddess essence. Attendees will engage in daily Kemetic Yoga exercises as well as intricate breath work and stretching. Meditations and Kemetic harmonic breathing rhythms are to be taught which helps release tension in organs.

Attendees will also enjoy fresh, organic vegan cuisine to nourish our bodies and allow a reset to our digestive systems. Fresh juices and smoothies in the morning, raw vegetables and salads during lunch and carefully prepared, deliciously spiced cuisine will be offered during dinner.

This retreat focuses on blending both ancient Egyptian and African holistic customs for the well-being of the people, as well as allow the attendees to fully detox both spiritually and physically.

Women often neglect themselves which is why workshops about self-love and vision setting will be taking place, and that includes: Self-healing + Holistic body-care with herbs and oils from Egypt based on Kemetic (Ancient Egyptian) principles. You’re also promised to study the various oils, creating face masks, body care and learning how to anoint our chakras and pamper ourselves similar to the ways of the ancient Queens.

Egypt was struggling to promote for tourism which is why such retreats and events are quite important to help Egypt’s tourism expand. This retreat is ideal for females who have no time to love and take care of themselves and also for people who don’t know how to do so. Egypt’s Coptic Orthodox churches have announced the suspension of masses and other services in both Cairo and Alexandria as of Monday and the suspension will last for a month.

The suspension comes in light of the rising numbers of Covid-19 cases among clergymen and churchgoers.

The Coptic Orthodox Church on Saturday released an official statement that says the suspension includes Sunday’s schools, meetings, services and masses, and that priests in each church are allowed one mass weekly with a minimal presence and a maximum of five deacons only.

As for funeral services, they’re allowed to be held but with the participation of only one priest and one deacon and of course the family of the deceased. However, the halls that are designated for mourning services will be closed until the improvement of current conditions.

For Baptism services, the maximum number allowed are four member of the baby’s family.

The statement added that study at institutes and educational centres will carry on but with a reduced maximum of 25%.

As for the dioceses, each bishop get to decide what is most suitable to the health situation in his diocese, in partnership with the congregation of priests.

We urge all worshipers to remain safe and adhere to all the precautionary measures needed.
